FAQ's

Do I need a south facing roof?

In short no, however it is the most beneficial area as it receives the most daylight. With older technology the panels would have to be south facing, despite this with the newest technology our panels can produce great savings well worth installing on all areas of the roof.

How much roof space will I need for solar panels?

Pretty much all roofs are compatible with solar,

the larger the roof surface area the more solar panels can be fitted, but this needs to be evaluated with the size of energy bills that need to be accommodated.

Will I still have an electricity bill after installing solar panels/ batteries?

Generally yes, you will still have a small electricity bill but the size of the size of your savings, will be dependent on the size of the system, both solar/ battery, and the specifics of the roof to which the installation will take place.

Will solar panels increase or decrease the value of the house?

Solar panels can affect the value of a property in both a positive and negative way. However, if the panels are new in technology, aesthetically pleasing and are still well into warranty you can expect a substantial increase in property value. Alternatively if the buyer isn’t impressed with the panels we can get them re-installed at your new property, so you can continue benefiting from long term savings.
